A photo tour of Broadband Nation
Yesterday I mentioned Broadband Nation, the 20,000 square foot micro-town powered by Broadband, that's the big attraction on the floor at the Cable Show. Broadband Nation showcases what fast broadband (Comcast is providing 50mbps speeds for the area) enables in a variety of settings. You can see, first hand, what apps coupled with super fast speeds can accomplish in the home (think energy monitoring, widgets on your TV, and video conferencing) to the doctor's office (your medical records at the click of a button, and doctors being able to diagnose you over the Internet).
I managed to take some pictures of Broadband Nation and post them to our Flickrstream. You can see them embedded above, or by checking out our Broadband Nation set on Flickr.
