Catch up with Oscar nominated movies On Demand

The Oscars seem so far away now, but I still want to keep up with all the post Oscars buzz worthy movies. I made it a point to watch Best Picture winner Slumdog Millionaire (loved it!) and Rachel Getting Married (it was so so - I wanted to see Anne Hathaway’s nominated performance), but since then my “must watch” list has gone unchecked. However, I know that there will be a few winners and nominees from the 2009 Academy Awards available On Demand this month including The Wrestler (2 nominations: Mickey Rourke for best actor and Marisa Tomei for best supporting actress), Milk (won 2 Oscars: Sean Penn for best actor and Dustin Lance Black for best screenplay plus it was nominated for another 6 awards including best director and best original score), Frost/Nixon (5 nominations including best picture, best actor, and best directing), and Changeling (3 nominations including best actress and best art direction) along with the two I mentioned earlier. PERFECT! Now I can finally see why Sean Penn won the Best Actor Award for myself. My “must watch” list is complete and hope yours will be too.

Now that we’re talking movies, it’s almost summer blockbuster time! What movies are you planning to watch this summer? Me?
