World Cup On Demand and in 3D
World Cup fever is starting to spread, and we have your soccer fanatics covered come June 11th, the start of the World Cup. You’ll be able to watch lots of World Cup coverage like never before: in 3D. The first match-up, featuring South Africa versus Mexico, will be shown live on ESPN 3D. ESPN 3D will also be broadcasting up to 25 subsequent matches in 3D.
If 3D isn’t your thing, we’ll also be offering all 64 World Cup matches live and On Demand the day after they are played via ESPN and Univision (remember, South Africa is in the GMT +2 time zone, so you might not be able to catch the games live). To get all this On Demand World Cup goodness go to your On Demand menu and select Sports & Fitness > 2010 World Cup.
Be sure to check out our complete World Cup offerings on Comcast.net Sports.

When will 3-d TV broadcasting come to the Houston market????
Like everythig from Comcast, this tells you how great they are, it OMITS important information such as what channels the games are show on and how much it will cost!!
The on-demand is great so we don't have to put all the games on the dvr. Also I would love to have Fox Soccer HD channel - especially after watching soccer in HD all summer on ESPN !
I called Comcast and they said it would be on Channel 790 in Florida
I was just informed by my local Comcast office that the World Cup in 3D will be broadcast on channel 790 in Florida. It doesn't show up in the online guide or on cable box guide yet.
hey, did anyone find out what channel the world cup games in 3D broadcast is going to be on? It would be great if Comcast would share this information before they actually broadcast.
Will we be able to view the matches free of charge, or do we have to pay? If we have to pay, is it per game or for the entire group of 64 matches?
Thanks!
I don't see ESPN3D on my channel lineup. What channel will it be on and what should I know before watching it on a 3D TV?
When will Comcast broadcast FSC Fox Soccer Channel in HD?
The Dish does
Hurry please
Thank you
