Comcast Provides Free Calls to Japan
Our thoughts go out to all of the victims of the devastating earthquake and tsunami that swept Japan, as well as to their family and friends.
During this extremely difficult time, we want to help our customers stay in close contact with loved ones in Japan. Therefore, we're offering our Xfinity Voice and Business Class Voice customers free calls to Japan from March 11 through April 10.
(If you've already been billed for calls made to Japan since March 11, you will receive a credit.)
For customers on our Worldwide 300 Call Plan who exceed their plan minutes, you will not be charged any additional fees for calls made to Japan during the allotted time period.
We will continue to keep all those impacted by these tragic events in our thoughts and wish them strength and courage during these trying times.

What is the procedure for making these calls o my Comcast landline phone?
Comcast...what a Great way to stretch out a helping hand...hopefully other with the ability will do the same.

Does this free phone service apply for calls to Japan, even if your Xfinity Voice Plan doesn't offer calling service to Japan on the norm? This is very generous for Xfinity to provide this service in this most difficult time for those in Japan.

Does this offer apply to both cell phones and land lines in Japan?
