Xfinity Streampix — New Streaming Service Delivers More TV Everywhere
Our goal is to deliver the best video entertainment source available on any screen. That's why we are launching a new subscription video service this week called Xfinity Streampix that complements the 75,000 hit TV shows and top-quality movies available to our customers today on Xfinity TV.
Starting this Thursday, Xfinity Streampix will enable our customers to instantly view popular entertainment — both in and out of the home — from leading movie studios and programmers including Disney-ABC Television Group, NBCUniversal, Sony Pictures, Warner Bros. Digital Distribution and Cookie Jar.
We've always been focused on giving our customers the best and most current entertainment choices available across platforms. We also recognize there's a marketplace for streaming deeper-library movies and TV shows and that's where Streampix comes in. With Xfinity Streampix, we're adding more past season TV shows, more movies and more value to our customers' subscriptions. For customers that are interested in this type of content, Xfinity TV and Streampix combined provide a one-stop solution for all of their video entertainment needs across screens.
Xfinity Streampix also gives us packaging and bundling flexibility for new and existing customers. We will include the service to millions of our customers in many of our bundled packages on day one and as a low-cost service sold separately to other video customers.
At launch, Streampix gives customers access to top programming like complete seasons of TV series, popular children's franchises and hit movies they can instantly stream on their TV, on Xfinity On Demand, online at XfinityTV.com and through the Xfinity TV app. In the coming year, our plan is to significantly increase the number of TV shows and movies available through Streampix, as well as, to bring the service to additional devices like the Xbox 360 and Android-powered devices.

Every time I try to view something on Streampix, it tells me that I have to "buy" it. I thought this was a free service to all premium & triple play customers. Please let me know what Im missing & if this is true. Thank you.
Hi Mac! Streampix is built into the Xfinity TV app. Get more info here http://xfinity.comcast.net/learn/internet/mobile-tv-app/
I went to the App Stopre but could not find an App called StreamPix, where is the iOS App?
Thanks!
No worries, Heather. You can find the Streampix content within the Premium Channels folder on Xfinity On Demand.
I don't want to sound like a moron but where on the tv is it found? I was informed by email and telephone call that I now have the service but can't find it? Is it just the On Demand or is it a certain category within it?
Thanks for the comment, BC. It's on our product roadmap.
I just tried Strampix out on the iPhone app, but it appears to only work over a Wi fi network. What good is streaming to my iPhone if I need to be connected to a Wi fi network? Will this ever work over the 3G network?
For now Streampix will be available on Xfinity On Demand, XfinityTV.com and via Apple iOS devices. Streampix will be available on additional devices, including Xbox 360 and Android devices in the future.
There's this sentence "... bring the service to additional devices like the Xbox 360 and Android-powered devices." yet there's a picture of an iPad with "Streampix" in it. So is it coming to the iPad?
