Angel Arocho

I’ve been here at Comcast for about two years and I’m excited about my first foray into the blogosphere.

At Comcast I focus on our Emergency Services Program. This includes developing public safety strategies, legislative and regulatory public safety issues and managing our relationships with the 9-1-1 community. My role allows me the privilege of meeting and working with many of the great people that work in and help run the 9-1-1 emergency call centers you and I would call in case of an emergency. I’m an active member within NENA and APCO as well as a member on the E9-1-1 Institute Board of Directors.

Being born and raised in Puerto Rico gave me the opportunity to fall in love with the sun, sand and water of our beautiful beaches. This is something I now enjoy doing with my wife and two children.

As a former Marine I love reading up on military history and watching military documentaries. Some of my other hobbies include playing basketball, baseball (Let’s Go Mets!), watching TV and movies, in HD of course. If you took a look at my DVR right now you would find episodes of The Pacific, Attack of the Show, The Soup, The Office, Community, Parks and Recreation, 30 Rock, Supernatural, Caprica and V.
