Chris Ellis

I’ve been with Comcast since 2000, first with the company’s corporate communications team and since last year with Comcast Spotlight, its advertising sales business, where I manage external and internal communications. I love that my job is never the same from day to day; the challenges and opportunities of learning about new technologies and developments is always exciting.

I’m a lifelong Philadelphia-area resident, now living in Willow Grove. A Temple U. alum, I’m also a big game show fan (Jeopardy is my idea of must-see-TV), and a Simpsons junkie. With a toddler at home, my DVR is a must for catching some of my other favorite shows like Monk and Lost—when it isn’t being used to record Sesame Street, that is. My other idea of TV heaven is watching the Steelers or Phillies on my HDTV on a Sunday afternoon.

When I get away from the office, my favorite destination is just about any place that involves a beach (or pool), my iPod and a relaxing dip in the water. Beyond the sand and sun, I enjoy exploring some of the treasures our region has to offer with my wife and son.

You’re watching your favorite show— Project Runway, SportsCenter, Monk or The Closer for example—and see an ad for the florist around the corner, or you’re reading the latest headlines on Comcast.net and notice a video about a local college. That’s...
