Chris Griffiths

I am the resident DNS geek at Comcast. That means the services I build are like the phone book for the Internet, it translates IP addresses to web addresses. It doesn’t sound like much but we currently maintain over 50 Million records (and growing) and support a user base of millions of users who use our services for web surfing, making phone calls, and watching TV. I’ve had my hand in DNS technologies for quite a few years, but nothing on the scale that we deal with at Comcast. Its challenging work but I am happy that it helps provide millions of customers with the services they enjoy on a daily basis.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my wife and children, playing golf, and traveling. I also hang out on twitter and online forums to help out customers.
