Fred Maahs

The joy of my role here at Comcast is the incredible impact our community investment initiatives have on the communities where our customers and employees live and work. I joined Comcast in 2007 and have the privilege of working closely with our national nonprofit community partners, including City Year, Big Brothers Big Sisters, One Economy, Boys and Girls Clubs and Teach for America. I also lead our companywide day of community service known as Comcast Cares Day, our companywide United Way campaign, and our Leaders and Achievers Scholarship program.
I have spent most of my career working either for Fortune 500 companies in leadership roles or at nonprofits. I serve on a number of national boards including the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD), United Way Worldwide’s Global Advisory Council and the Greater Philadelphia Corporate Volunteer Council. I am also a Big Brother in Comcast’s Beyond School Walls program.
