Gerard Kunkel

Believe it or not, I have the term "User Experience" in my title - I'm SVP, User Experience and Product Design here at Comcast. You can only image what that does for me at the neighborhood parties! I'm responsible for future product design here at Comcast. Yes, I love my job, and the people I work with are great. I have a team of product designers with exceptional interaction design, visual design, and software technology expertise. Together with many other Comcasters, and the very best interactive TV designers in Hollywood, we're working on new product experiences that are fun, elegant, and help you get to the things matter most to you and your family - your entertainment, your information, and your communications. Prior to joining Comcast I led a number of interactive TV software development companies. Early in my career I was a magazine art director working with great publishing teams at Business Week, PC Magazine, and the Financial Times of London. I've also written a couple of books on the intersection of technology and design.

When I'm not working (and my wife will tell you that's never) I like to spend time with the family doing old fashioned movie nights, or playing a board game with the kids. I have a great wife, a teenage boy, and a daughter in college. Oh, and yes, I love golf - even though I'm pretty awful at it.
