Ike Richman

I’ve been with Comcast-Spectacor for 20 years and I currently serve as Vice President of Public Relations for the company, overseeing both public and media relations for both of the company’s Philadelphia facilities the Wachovia Center and Wachovia Spectrum, as well as the company’s public assembly facility management firm Global Spectrum, the company’s food and beverage concessionaire Ovations Food Services, the company’s ticketing system New Era Tickets and the four community skating rinks Flyers Skate Zone.

Over those 20 years I’ve been lucky enough to be involved with numerous events including the l996 World Cup of Hockey, the l997 Stanley Cup Finals, the l998 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, the l999 American Hockey League All-Star Game, the 2000 NCAA Women’s Final Four, the 2000 Republican National Convention, the 2001 NCAA Men’s East Regionals, the 2001 NBA Finals, the 2001 and 2002 X Games and the 2002 NBA All-Star Weekend.

I am named in memory of my grandfather Ike Richman who was the original owner of the Philadelphia 76ers. The late Ike Richman purchased the Syracuse Nationals and moved them to Philadelphia and created the 76ers in l963.

I live in Lafayette Hill, PA, with my wife, Lynne, and our two daughters, Allanah and Lauryn.
