Jason Press serves as Chief Technology Officer/Vice President of Technology & Operations for Comcast Interactive Media. In this role he is responsible for managing the Engineering, Quality Assurance, Delivery Management and Operations organization for Comcast’s interactive products. His focus is to deliver exciting new products and capabilities to millions of Comcast customers by showcasing how technology, content and communication can be leveraged across computers and mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets to deliver compelling entertainment and information services.
Since joining Comcast in 2008 Jason has made significant contributions to the overall growth of the Company by building innovative entertainment products and features such as XfinityTV.com, which enabled an industry first authenticated viewing experience online, and the Xfinity TV App for viewing what’s on TV / OnDemand and Play Now.
Prior to Comcast, Jason held leadership positions at Conde Nast Publications where he was responsible for Interactive Technologies for over 25 Magazines and Internet Brands including Style.com, Portfolio.com, Brides.com, Vogue, Lucky and many more. He began his career in consulting with PriceWaterhouseCoopers where he held several roles leading up to Principal Consultant, Entertainment & Media, specializing in using technology to more effectively leverage content, rights and new business opportunities.
Jason graduated Cum Laude in Decision Information Sciences / Management from the University of Florida and resides in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania with his wife and three children.
