I've been writing online before the word "blogosphere" even existed. Hard to believe, right?

I got my start reviewing albums and concerts for sites like PopMatters and Pitchfork, mostly out of a love for music (but also an appreciation for free stuff.) Never in a million years did I think I could turn this hobby into a career, but it happened when I became the music editor of Comcast.net. In that role I got to do all sorts of fun things like meet Mariah Carey, attend the SXSW Music Festival and interview bands like Mastodon.

Somewhere along the way I caught the social media bug, which led to a constant stream of short, incisive commentary on Twitter and Facebook. Tons of baby pictures, too.

All of that brought me here to my new role as Chief Blogger of Comcast Voices. You'll be seeing a lot more of me as I find out about all the cool new stuff we here at Comcast are working on, as well as the great people who make it all happen.

When I'm not doing something online, I'm a movie geek, baseball nut, marathon runner, avid reader, husband and dad.
