Maggie McLean Suniewick

As the Vice President, Video Services for Comcast Cable I manage all things content related across all of our viewing platforms including Xfinity On Demand, XfinityTV.com and the Xfinity TV app. Starting with Content Acquisitions, I work with Greg Rigdon's team to negotiate content rights. Once the deals are done I work with our ops teams to make sure that the content is getting encoded and launched across screens. What I spend most of my time doing is working with all our content partners (HBO, Showtime, Hulu, Viacom, etc.) to make sure that we are getting the best content and that both sides are living up to the terms of the deals.

I joined Comcast in May of 2006 and was focused on acquiring online content, which at that time, meant TV clips and movie trailers. Today we have over 200k choices online with over 75k full length TV shows and movies available across On Demand, online and the app. As we continue to launch our content on additional platforms and devices, such as Xbox and Android, I will make sure that we have the best content available.

Prior to joining Comcast, I was one of the original employees of Oxygen Media. I spent seven years there and had roles as diverse as writing a column on investing for one of our websites to managing our ten year financial plan. It was quite an experience!

I went to Wesleyan University undergrad where I studied economics, and, more importantly, met my husband, Josh. We currently live in West Mount Airy with our two amazing boys, Sam (5) and Theo (3).
