I’ve been working at Comcast since 2003, in the communications department in Seattle. I enjoy finding the best uses of technology and social media, which is a lot of fun working in one of the leading technology cities in the world.
I serve on the board of Social Media Club Seattle (SMC Seattle), and I’ve had the opportunity to help local non-profits and elected officials integrate social media into their campaign messages. I realized the demand was overwhelming, so earlier this year, I started Voluntweetup, a series of free events teaching non-profits how to use social media tools.
I’ve been lucky enough to work in the sports and TV entertainment industry my entire career. I started with the Seattle Mariners before moving to Fox Sports Net Northwest and later, FOX. In my spare time, I love to play beach volleyball and snowboard. I live near Alki Beach in Seattle, Washington with my husband, Brian and dog, Roxy.
