Before I arrived at Comcast, I sold toothbrushes. (Well actually I spent six years with Colgate-Palmolive as Marketing Director for their Toothbrush Products Division). Since 1996 I've been lucky enough to hold a number of executive management positions for Comcast in Chicago, Atlanta and now San Francisco.
Since December 2007 I've been serving as the Senior Vice President for the California Region, which means I'm responsible for 2.4 million customers located throughout Northern California and the 7,500 Comcast employees who take care of them. As one of the largest technology companies operating in Silicon Valley, all of us working for Comcast recognize the importance of combining superior customer service with our state-of-the-art telecommunications network.
Born and raised in Indianapolis, I'm also a proud Indiana University grad. I'm a huge sports fan -- in fact when I was younger I wanted to be the next Bryant Gumbel -- and an avid golfer. Without a doubt my greatest victory was convincing my wife, Barbita, to say yes.
