Todd Gold

Todd Gold has been the Editor-in-Chief of Comcast's industry-leading entertainment website XfinityTV.com since summer 2007 when the site was known as Fancast.com and began streaming hundreds of current and favorite television shows and complimenting them with news stories. Under Gold's editorial stewardship, the website has become one of the leading entertainment destinations on the Internet, averaging between 7 and 10 million unique users each month, and known for its authority on television. The site's editors and writers have broken dozens of stories, interviewed numerous stars, shared video exclusives with their users, and been quoted by CNN, Fox News, People magazine, AP, Reuters, the New York Post, Us magazine, and more. Most recently Gold created the Indie Movie Club for Comcast's On Demand and online users as a way to showcase producers of content with an independent voice. Gold is also a bestselling author who has collaborated on more than 30 books, including two New York Times #1 bestsellers and more than a dozen other bestselling books. The list of those with whom he has worked includes Valerie Bertinelli, Ann-Margret, Drew Barrymore, Carl Reiner and Mel Brooks, Burt Reynolds, Richard Pryor, Louie Anderson, Belinda Carlisle, the Osbournes, and most recently Dick Van Dyke. Prior to joining Comcast, Gold wrote for People and Us magazines. His many cover stories and interviews included Angelina Jolie, Britney Spears, Barbra Streisand, Robert Redford, Madonna, Michael J. Fox, Bruce Willis, and Michael Jackson. Gold also worked as a senior producer on Roseanne Barr's daily syndicated talk show for King World and created and executive produced The Thin Green Line, an investigative news series about the environment that ran on the Outdoor Life Network. He graduated from Occidental College and lives with his family in Los Angeles.
